Fire Prism

"This battle calls for massive firepower."

Fire Prisms are some of the heaviest anti-gravity tanks in the Eldar arsenal. Slightly less armored than Space Marine tanks, the Fire Prism makes up for this with enormous speed and firepower. The Prism Cannon's area of effect allows a Fire Prism to damage multiple vehicles at once, while the Cannon's blast disrupts infantry troops. The Fire Prism's ability to jump makes it unique among the heavy tanks of the end-game, allowing it to decide when and where to fight or flee.

Tactics

Fire Prisms are available very late in the game, and consequently will be faced with serious resistance from enemy forces. Along with being the second most durable ranged Tier 4 tank after the Predator (and they surpass even that after Holo-fields), Fire Prisms are also the most mobile. They are fast enough to make hit and run strikes, and if they encounter serious resistance they always have the Jump ability to fall back on. In a straight out fight try and have your Wraithlords draw anti-vehicle fire away from the Fire Prisms. While the Prism Cannon does very little damage against infantry, it is great for disrupting them. Use this against enemy infantry with set-up times, notably Space Marine Squads with Missile Launchers.
